Unity

Unity is the new default desktop user interface for Ubuntu which is being used for user interface convergence with smartphones, tablets, notebooks, TV and PC's. Below are brief guidelines on how to use the interface.
- References
- "Windows/Super" Key
Press and hold down the "Windows" labelled key on the keyboard until the shortcut key guide pops up.
- Launcher and Dash
- At the top left of the screen, click on the Ubuntu logo
on the "Launcher" to access the "Dash".
- Type a search item in the search box.
- Or click on the various "Lens" at the bottom of the "Dash" and search.
- System Settings
At the top right of the screen, click on the gear icon
on the top panel to access "System Settings" amongst others.

- Help
- Open the Dash and type Help
